Limited Time Magic – Have you heard about it?

In 2013, Disney parks are all about celebrating what they call Limited Time Magic. So what is it? Well, the best way to explain it is that its new entertainment and imaginative events will pop up and then disappear. It could be little, it could be big – you never know what Disney has up its sleeve!

These special pop ups, typically lasting only a week have been quite an array of things – from special ear hats, a special menu offering for the Super Bowl week, and this week’s celebration of true love in honor of Valentine’s Day!

From February 11 – 17, Walt Disney World will celebrate love as Cinderella Castle gets a romantic nighttime makeover and “happily ever after” becomes reality.  The following information, taken directly from the Disney website, explains the details:

Themed Experiences at Magic Kingdom Park

Delight in an array of festive experiences at Magic Kingdom* during True Love Week, including:

Romantic Setting: Feel the romance at every turn, with banners proclaiming True Love, heart-shaped signage and sweetheart-themed décor.

Blushing Castle: At dusk, Cinderella Castle will blush hues of pink, red, lavender and blue with themed lighting that’s paired with musical melodies.

Valentine’s-themed Takeaways: Limited-edition pins, plushes, newly designed apparel and Vinylmations will be available for purchase at select merchandise locations.

Royal Gathering: Enjoy a rare opportunity to get a photo with some Disney Princes as they escort their Princesses to enchanting greeting locations.

Throughout the park, discover more romantic photo locations where you can capture special moments with loved ones:

Carriage Awaits: New Fantasyland invites lovers to create memories alongside Cinderella’s Glass Coach.

Wishes Come True: Hearts and flowers enhance Cinderella’s Wishing Well, offering a picturesque backdrop for your photos.

Rose Walk: The Rose Garden in Central Plaza will be enhanced with enchanting décor.

Enjoy all this—and maybe some unexpected surprises—at Magic Kingdom park.

If you have a trip coming up, check the website for what may be coming up at that time. Information is typically announced the week prior to the event. Disney is keeping mum on these extras as they don’t want people planning trips around them. They are meant to be surprises. I know I can’t wait to see what is in store for my upcoming trip! (10 more days….not that I am counting – ha-ha).

Sending pixie dust wishes & magical dreams your way – until next time…

Laura
