With two Disney loving children, I often find my trips to WDW filled with chasing characters and seeing all the character driven shows. One of the most favorite attractions over the years is at Hollywood Studios – Disney Junior Live on Stage. Thru the past 12 years I have been a parent traveling to WDW annually, this has always been a must see and we have seen it flow thru many changes. Changes that have deemed necessary due to changes in children’s programing and the show’s characters.

Just this past week, this attraction reopened with some of Disney Junior programming’s most popular characters. Still appearing is Mickey & the gang from Mickey House Clubhouse and Jake and crew from Jake and the Neverland Pirates. (Jake was the most recent addition (2011) up until this point. And now, as of Friday, February 15, 2013 they are joined by the characters from Doc McStuffins and Sofia the First. Anyone with little ones knows these are the HOT characters for the preschool set right now!

For those of you unfamiliar with this attraction, it is located in Disney’s Hollywood Studios park in the Animation Courtyard area of the park. There are several show times throughout the day and they are posted on the daily schedule and outside the attraction itself.

Once inside the theater, you will be seated on the floor around a raised stage where life-sized puppets play out the 24 minute story for the mesmerized children. If all aspects have stayed the same, expect confetti and bubbles to flow and joyful dancing by the wee ones. It really is a fun show.  Seating on the floor an issue? Never fear, there is bench seating along the back walls for those who prefer.

If you have little ones or just prefer to see everything Disney has to offer, this is a must see attraction.

I am off to The World this week, so I am hoping if time permits (this is an adult’s only trip for me) I can sneak in and catch the new show. Here’s hoping  for  a ton of new things to see and share with you here – including my experience with Run Disney and the Princess Half Marathon!
